Theatre Booking Officer

Northern Beaches Hospital is a world-class healthcare facility that provides Level 5 delineation services for both public and private patients. The hospital features 486 beds, a 50-bed Emergency Department, and 20-bed general and cardiothoracic ICU. It also has 14 state-of-the-art theatres, including cardiac catheter labs, a world-class education centre, doctors lounge, and excellent staff facilities, including a café and car parking.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Full Time Theatre Booking Officer to join our friendly and hard-working team. Our theatre booking team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high-quality patient-centred care. You will be expected to deal with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) from a range of disciplines and come into direct patient contact.
Key Responsibilities- Effective management of all patient Private Elective Surgery Bookings and Theatre Lists
- Accurate and timely data entry
- Exceptional customer service, responding to patients and stakeholders in a timely, efficient, friendly, and courteous manner
- Well-developed oral and written communication
- Time management, multi-tasking skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Sound understanding of medical terminology
- High standard of computer literacy
- Experienced WebPAS User
- Knowledge of E-Admissions & E-Referrals
