About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Healthscope as an Operating Theatre Floor Coordinator, where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our perioperative department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the safe and efficient delivery of patient care in the operating theatres, ensuring compliance with current best practice standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.
- Manage theatre staffing and resources to ensure optimal utilization and minimize waste.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of legislative requirements, accreditation processes, and quality/risk management principles.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline or management (or working towards)
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Minimum of 4 years management experience
- Minimum of 3 years human resources management experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing budget targets
- High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office
- Experience in a similar position (desired)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
