About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Theatre Floor Coordinator to join our team at Sydney Southwest Private Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the safe and quality delivery of care in the operating theatres, ensuring compliance with current best practice standards.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager of the Perioperative department and wards to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Ensure that all theatres are staffed appropriately and cost-effectively, taking into account legislative requirements, ACORN, and sterilization standards.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of accreditation processes and Quality/Risk management principles.
- Support the hospital's focus on providing world-class healthcare to patients, with a strong emphasis on customer service and communication.
Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline or management (or working towards).
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum of 4 years management experience.
- Minimum of 3 years Human Resources Management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing budget targets.
- High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office.
- Experience in a similar position (desired).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
