Visionary Leader for Mental Health Reform

The Group Director - Mental Health Reform Services will be a key member of the Statewide Mental Health Services Executive Leadership team. This team works collaboratively to develop, deliver and evaluate policies, programs and initiatives within SMHS.
This ensures mental health services across the age continuum, alcohol and drug, forensic mental health and correctional primary health services are delivered with a strong consumer and carer focus, being sustainable, accessible, safe and of high quality.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Providing High-Level Knowledge and Understanding: The role requires providing high-level knowledge and understanding of national and State policy frameworks and operations, coupled with extensive experience and proven expertise in the design, management and implementation of services, programs, and initiatives;
- Leading and Motivating Others: Leading and motivating others to gain cooperation and establish long-term strategic goals;
- Effectively Managing Resources: Effectively managing financial, human, physical and information resources, monitoring effectiveness and efficiency and applying contemporary management techniques within a geographically dispersed service or organisation.
