Project Lead - Mental Health

This is an exciting opportunity to lead projects that deliver Homes Victoria's mental health supported housing reforms.

The overall work of the team is focused on delivering on the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System's Recommendation 25. This includes designing and implementing the delivery strategy for achieving the Mental Health cohort targets in the Big Housing Build and working to implement comprehensive co-design initiatives.

Other key projects include introduction of a 'priority access' category for people living with mental illness and ensuring an appropriate evaluation framework is in place to support implementation.

You will have excellent stakeholder management, problem solving and communication skills, and demonstrable experience in being an effective people manager as the role will manage some team members.

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage and oversee the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
  • Leading research, analysis and implementation of complex projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
  • Monitoring and evaluating projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need to possess:

Excellent stakeholder management, problem solving and communication skills.

Demonstrable experience in being an effective people manager.
