Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for Federal and State Government across Australia.
  • Build and manage a high-value pipeline, from prospecting through to close.
  • Implement strategic account plans to drive growth, retention, and customer loyalty.
  • Navigate complex procurement processes including RFTs, panels, and deal negotiations.
  • Establish strong relationships with senior public sector stakeholders and leading consulting firms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and strategic insights to inform executive leadership.
  • Represent the company at government forums, industry events, and innovation summits.
Requirements
  • 5–10 years' experience in enterprise SaaS sales, with a strong focus on Australian Government (Federal and/or State).
  • Proven success in closing large, complex deals within public sector environments.
  • Deep understanding of government procurement frameworks and digital transformation priorities.
  • Strong network across Canberra and major state capitals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and a passion for public sector impact.
  • Knowledge and application of value-based selling methodologies.
  • Exceptional customer relationships and communication skills, with the ability to establish credibility and trust with senior executives.
