Backend Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing backend solutions that meet product requirements.

  • You will work closely with other developers and product teams to develop and deploy NodeJS/Nest applications using the Heroku platform.
  • You will design and implement APIs, manage and maintain databases, and debug and test code.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement scalable backend solutions aligned with product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and maintain high-quality code.
  • Review code, mentor, and coach junior engineers.
  • Manage product releases, provide production support, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create clear technical documentation, including release notes and API specifications.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with Node.js (particularly NestJS) and/or .NET.
  • Proficient in database design and management, particularly with PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps and Ansible.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, and Amazon MQ.
  • Skilled in backend architecture, microservices, and API design.
  • Able to assess and prioritize change requests, manage incidents, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experienced in writing clear technical documentation and collaborating on scalable system designs.
  • Passionate about continuous learning, mentoring others, and contributing to a high-performing team.
  • Salesforce experience is highly regarded.
