Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge surveying solutions. As a key member of our Visualiser team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience across desktop and mobile platforms.

Our product enables users to visualise drone and terrestrial-captured data, providing a comprehensive view of their sites. We are now expanding this functionality by developing new tools to streamline composition and enhance data cleanup processes.

Your Responsibilities
  1. You will take ownership of high-impact features that will shape the future growth of our product, working closely with Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers in an agile environment.
  2. You will support the survey capabilities of our visualization product, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  3. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems, leveraging your expertise in backend development and microservice architecture.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in backend development, preferably with a microservice architecture.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and taking a collaborative approach, thriving in a team of engineers.
  • Experience leading features independently, understanding requirements, identifying core problems and making informed recommendations.
  • Comfortable with discovery-driven problem-solving in complex environments.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
  • Bonus points for experience with NestJS and Prisma for building scalable, efficient back-end systems and Modern React for building dynamic, responsive front-end applications.
