Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Advisor to join our team on a 6-month contract. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for overseeing workforce planning processes and providing expert advice on staffing and financial administration matters.

This role is 7 hours per day/28 hours per week.

About the Role:

Talent Acquisition Management
  • Lead the delivery of end-to-end talent acquisition services, including candidate attraction, selection, assessment, and onboarding in alignment with best practice methodologies, Public Service Commission guidelines, and legislative requirements.
Consultation and Coaching
  • Provide expert advice, coaching, and support to management and staff on talent acquisition methodologies, legislative matters, and compliance with government policies.
Stakeholder Relationships
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure workforce planning services are tailored to meet operational needs and align with organisational goals.
Project Management
  • Oversee the management of projects related to talent acquisition and workforce planning, ensuring compliance with governance and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Industry Awareness and Innovation
  • Stay informed on industry trends, policy changes, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions that optimise workforce outcomes.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field are desirable.
  • Relevant experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and/or organisational development.
  • Knowledge of government processes and financial administration related to staffing and budget management.
