Transportation Coordinator Job Description

This role involves working as a skilled transportation coordinator in the delivery of goods and materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing routes efficiently, ensuring safe transportation, and providing excellent service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and executing delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
  • Loading and unloading materials as per delivery docket.
  • Inspecting vehicles and reporting problems or incidents to management.
  • Ensuring compliance with OH&S regulations and company rules.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Multi Combination truck license.
  • Prior experience in the industry is highly regarded.
  • Display a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understand all aspects of OH&S compliance and manual handling.
  • Interpersonal skills - must be able to get along with other workers and be pleasant to customers.
