Job Title: Transport Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Transport Coordinator to join our team in delivering exceptional transportation services across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate delivery tasks with subcontracted drivers.
  • Manage booking time slots for deliveries and collections to ensure efficient trip planning.
  • Manage bookings, consignment notes, manifests, and freight coordination with transport providers and internal teams.
  • Address freight discrepancies and ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.
  • Prepare quotations and ensure accurate invoicing according to company protocols.
  • Assist the Contract Manager with contract requirements and perform ad hoc duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar position within the transport and logistics sector.
  • Proficiency in data entry, tracking systems, scheduling, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong communication skills, critical thinking, creative problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work independently.
