
Specialist Mental Health Service Provider

Clinical Nurse Specialists are sought to provide clinical services to young people and their families in the CYMHS Out of Home Care Team in Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality mental health services to young people and their carers.
- Provide complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including development and implementation of specialised treatment programs.
- Collaborate with consultant psychiatrists to develop new youth mental health services in Tasmania.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, providing support and consultation to other members as required.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions where training has been undertaken.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and possession of specialist mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification.
- Current registration with relevant professional board and Working with Children Registration.
- Valid registrations/licences required for the role; status may be checked during employment.
- Desirable: postgraduate experience in CAMHS; minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in child, adolescent and/or youth mental health or related field.
