
Mental Health Specialist

The successful applicant will play a crucial role in providing specialist services to clients of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. As part of the Head to Health Kids team, they will support the establishment of the CYMHS North Head to Health Kids Tasmania service.
Key responsibilities include developing and supporting collaborative care partnerships with service providers, collecting and reviewing client and service outcome data, and participating in activities to improve client outcomes.
Core Accountabilities:
- Undertake assessments, care planning, and delivery of individual and group secondary level mental health interventions to children and families.
- Develop and support collaborative care partnerships with service providers.
- Collect and review client and service outcome data.
- Participate in activities to improve client outcomes.
- Contribute to continuing quality and safety, service development and improvement, and professional development processes and standards.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in an area relevant to the role.
- A postgraduate qualification or working towards a postgraduate qualification relevant to the role.
- A current Driver's Licence.
Please note that registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role.
