Family Service Coordinator

The Family Services program provides vital support to families experiencing stress and difficulties. We respond to referrals from The Orange Door, offering assertive outreach and home-based services to help families overcome challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange visits with new families using a creative approach
- Conduct strengths and risk assessments in the client's home or child's school
- Review plans to support family goals with your supervisor
- Consult with Child Protection
- Discuss challenging cases with team members in Reflective Practice meetings

Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or related fields
- Understanding of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and Best Interest Principles
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and planning interventions
- Strengths-based, child-centered approach to case management
- Ability to work flexibly and innovatively to meet family needs
