About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our team at Followmont Transport, a leading family-owned transport company in Queensland. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships through market research, networking, and prospecting.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals with clients to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that address client needs and drive business value.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and reports to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in developing pipelines and driving revenue growth, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of the transport industry is a plus.
