Offshore Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems Geospatial Specialist

The PhD project is a collaborative effort between Griffith University's School of Engineering & Built Environment, industry partners, and the Blue Economy CRC. The primary objective is to develop a spatial decision-support tool to identify optimal Offshore Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems (OHRES) sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement a GIS-based multi-criteria decision-making model for OHRES.
- Collaborate with industry partners and researchers to gather data and insights.
- Develop a user-friendly interface for analyzing spatial and analytical results.
- Completed or expect to complete a Bachelor's degree with honours equivalent to second/division A class honours or a Master's degree (AQF Level 9).
- A minimum overall band score of 6.5 on the IELTS (Academic) with no band score less than 6.0 or a minimum score of 575 on the paper-based TOEFL including a score of no less than 5.0 on the TWE.
- Annual stipend of $38,500 (indexed) for up to three and a half years of full-time study.
- Griffith University International Postgraduate Research Scholarship to cover tuition fees for the same period.
