We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our innovative research initiative focused on offshore hybrid renewable energy systems.
The project aims to develop an advanced GIS-based spatial decision-support tool to identify optimal locations for renewable energy system deployment.
This tool will assist energy planners and system managers in making informed, visual, and data-driven decisions.
Research Collaboration & SupportThe project is part of the Blue Economy Cooperative Research Centre program and will be conducted in partnership with:
- Griffith University's School of Engineering and Built Environment
- CSIRO
- Pitt & Sherry
- Blue Economy CRC
We're looking for a candidate who is passionate about renewable energy, spatial analysis, and GIS, capable of conducting independent research, a strong collaborator, able to work effectively with academic and industry partners, and interested in contributing to the future of sustainable offshore energy systems.
