The RoleThis is an opportunity to join our team as an Area Administration Assistant. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the region.
- You will be welcoming guests to the office and acting as the first point of contact for staff and external contractors.
- Maintaining office equipment and supplies is also part of your responsibilities.
- Supporting the onboarding of new staff and assisting with recruitment, including managing interviews, verifying documents, submitting checks, and sending reminders.
- Preparing compliance reports and liaising with government departments regarding checks are also key tasks.
- You will be responsible for scanning and emailing training documentation, organising catering for meetings and training sessions, managing property leases, maintenance requests, and damage reports.
- Overseeing vehicle management and coordinating residential placement openings/closures are also important duties.
- You will use systems such as Humanforce, ELMO, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
You bring life experience, patience, empathy, and resilience, with a great sense of humour to match. You're proactive, approachable, and able to build rapport easily with your team.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role you will need:
- A QLD P2 or Open driver's licence.
- A minimum Certificate III in Business Administration or similar discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar administration role.
- A Current QLD Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
- Willingness to complete short courses required to work within QLD child protection (supported by us).
- A Current Licensed Care Service (LCS) check through the Department, or willingness to obtain (supported by us).
