We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at Arcare Aged Care. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our residents by managing and maintaining our facility's laundry services.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional care to our residents. You will be responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens, clothing, towels, and other fabrics used by residents and staff.

You will also be required to regularly use, clean, and maintain laundry equipment such as washing machines and dryers. Additionally, you will maintain a system for lost and found items to ensure that residents' belongings are returned promptly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the facility's laundry services
  • Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, towels, and other fabrics
  • Maintain laundry equipment and report any issues
  • Maintain a system for lost and found items
Requirements
  • Diploma or Certificate III in Laundry Operations or related field
  • Previous experience in laundry operations or related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
