Role Overview
">We are seeking a passionate and experienced head and neck cancer nurse to join our multidisciplinary cancer care team.
">Key Responsibilities">- Deliver expert clinical care and education support to individuals and families navigating a head and neck cancer diagnosis.
- Provide holistic, patient-centred care from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
- Act as an advocate, educator, and clinical expert to ensure patients feel supported every step of the way.
- Work autonomously and within the multidisciplinary team with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Demonstrate an appropriate level of oncology nursing experience and capability.
- Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the relevant health agency.
- At least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, with at least 3 years in oncology.
- Approved postgraduate nursing qualifications relevant to head and neck cancer, or equivalent qualifications/experience deemed appropriate.
- Demonstrated integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in daily practice.
- Demonstrated effective time management and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
