About The Role

St Vincent's Hospital Sydney, in partnership with the McGrath Foundation, is seeking a passionate and experienced McGrath Cancer Care Nurse - Head and Neck to join our multidisciplinary cancer care team.

  • Provide expert clinical care, education support to individuals and families navigating a head and neck cancer diagnosis.
  • Deliver holistic, patient-centred care from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
  • You will be an advocate, educator, and clinical expert, ensuring patients feel supported every step of the way.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within the multidisciplinary team and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • An exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified oncology nurse.
About You
  • Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • At least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in oncology.
  • Approved postgraduate nursing qualifications relevant to head and neck cancer, or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney.
  • Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse.
  • Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.

In this role you will be based at St Vincent's hospital, Darlinghurst.
