Our multidisciplinary cancer care team is seeking a skilled and compassionate clinical professional to provide holistic, patient-centred care to individuals and families navigating a head and neck cancer diagnosis.
About the Role- Deliver expert clinical support, education, and advocacy from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patients receive comprehensive care that addresses their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote positive health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Showcase exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills to navigate complex patient cases and make informed decisions.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance clinical expertise and stay current with best practices in head and neck cancer care.
About You
- Certified as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the relevant state or national nursing authority.
- Demonstrate at least 5 years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience, including at least 3 years of experience in oncology.
- Hold approved postgraduate nursing qualifications relevant to head and neck cancer, or such other qualifications deemed suitable by the hiring organisation.
- Evidently integrate theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, demonstrating critical thinking and analysis in daily practice as a registered nurse.
- Showcase effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a dynamic environment.
