Care Coordinator for Head and Neck Cancer Patients
Role Overview:This role involves delivering expert clinical care and support to individuals and families navigating a head and neck cancer diagnosis.
- Deliver patient-centred care from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
- Advocate for patients' needs and ensure they feel supported every step of the way.
To be successful, you will need to have:
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with a relevant health regulatory agency.
- At least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, with at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in oncology.
- Approved postgraduate nursing qualifications relevant to head and neck cancer.
- Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in daily practice.
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
