Speech Pathology Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and other professionals.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assisting children in developing effective communication skills, including expression of wants and needs during daily activities.
  • Educating and involving parents, carers, and others to support communication and language development.
  • Supporting children to speak clearly and confidently, enabling them to be understood by others.
  • Treating stuttering and articulation disorders to enable fluent speech.
  • Addressing literacy, reading, and writing difficulties in conjunction with teachers and schools.
  • Teaching children safe food and drink management skills.
