We are seeking a commercially driven coordinator to join our operations in the Pacific region.
This role supports sourcing, vendor relationships, compliance, and contract performance across a large network of subcontractors.
You will support strategic procurement activity and build strong partnerships to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business goals.
- Support management of commercial relationships with subcontractors across Australia and New Zealand
- Oversee sourcing, rate negotiations, onboarding, compliance, and performance tracking
- Lead tendering and procurement activity for ground and rail transport services
- Act as a central point of contact for commercial negotiations and contract execution
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Legal and Procurement colleagues
- Support development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives
- Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement strategies to optimize value and mitigate risk
Our ideal candidate has experience in procurement, preferably in ground or rail transport, and strong commercial and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in procurement, sourcing or supplier management
- Knowledge of transport or logistics operations and industry dynamics
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience leading tenders and negotiations with subcontractors or carriers
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a pragmatic approach
- CIPS/MCIPS or tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business or a related field (desired)
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
