Urban Design Specialist

This key position in our team involves leading various landscape design and urban renewal projects across the city. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping public spaces, parks, and urban areas to create a sustainable environment for future generations.
- You will oversee significant projects that cater to growth and provide specialist input into our town centre renewal program.
- As part of the CBD Renewal Program, you will work on high-profile playgrounds and contribute to the development of parklands and urban spaces.
Your primary duties will include:
- Designing comprehensive frameworks and detailed concepts for key parklands and urban spaces.
- Managing special projects arising from our Liveable Centres Program.
- Developing precise designs and cost estimates for recreational, open space, and landscape projects.
- Ensuring all designs meet the highest professional standards.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture or a related design field.
- A current Class C Driver's license.
- A White Card.
- A minimum of 4 years of post-graduate experience in Landscape Architecture.
High-level skills in design and documentation using AutoCAD are essential, as well as exceptional written, graphic, and verbal communication skills. You should also have experience working within multidisciplinary teams and possess strong interpersonal skills.
