About the Role: As a Workers Compensation Claims Specialist, you will manage a portfolio of NSW workers compensation claims, collaborating with stakeholders to minimize liabilities and injury impact.
You will:
- Effectively manage claims in accordance with state laws and policies, ensuring injured employees receive correct entitlements and are aware of their rights and responsibilities.
- Facilitate timely resolution of claims by engaging with injured employees and business stakeholders for understanding, collaboration and continuous improvement in claims management.
- Coordinate external service providers and gather information from internal stakeholders to efficiently manage claims.
About You and Your Skills: To succeed, you will need a strong understanding of customer service, experience interfacing with customers in challenging situations, and ideally some claims management experience in workers compensation.
You will also require:
- A qualification or certification in a health or business-related field (desired)
- Basic knowledge of workers compensation claim management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Electronic Information Management systems
- Claims Management Information systems
