About the Role
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented professional to fill the position of Claims Specialist. The primary responsibility is to manage Financial Lines, General Liability and Cyber claims from notification through to resolution by providing expert, prompt and courteous service to broker clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Providing in-depth analysis and advice on threshold coverage, particularly where there may be issues of characterization, policy interpretation, exclusion operation or disclosure issues.
- Timely and courteous verbal and written reviews and responses to broker clients.
- Collaborating with key legal partners to Investigate and determine liability, quantum and a tailored strategy for resolution.
- Establishing timely and accurate reserves.
- Directing and closely managing key legal partners on claims where appropriate.
- An insurance professional with 3+ years of experience in Financial Lines claims management.
- A confident communicator who is passionate about delivering a high level of service to clients.
- Strong people skills that provide the ability to build and maintain relationships and negotiate as needed in challenging circumstances.
