Mine Subsidence Remediation Specialist

We are looking for a skilled geotechnical expert to fill a critical role in our team.
- Conduct thorough assessments of mine subsidence risks and develop predictive models to safeguard communities, infrastructure, and the environment.
- Provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and collaborate with stakeholders to identify effective solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, mine subsidence remediation, and risk assessment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing detailed mine subsidence risk assessments and predictive models.
- Monitoring and analysing ground movement impacts and associated infrastructure effects.
- Providing technical advice on remediation and prevention measures.
- Collaborating with developers, engineers, regulators, and community stakeholders.
- Preparing expert technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring adherence to mine subsidence legislation, industry standards, and safety frameworks.
- Tertiary qualification in Geotechnical, Mining or Civil Engineering.
- Significant experience in mine subsidence engineering, remediation / mine filling design, and geotechnical assessment.
- Proven track record in subsidence modelling and interpretation, structural impact assessment, and monitoring techniques.
- Excellent technical reporting and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Subsidence Advisory NSW practices.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent registration (desired).
