Mine Subsidence Leader

This is a key technical leadership role within our East Coast Geotechnical Group.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Mine Subsidence Engineer to join our team in Newcastle or Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and experience in mine subsidence engineering, remediation/mine filling design, and geotechnical assessment.
- Conduct detailed mine subsidence risk assessments and develop predictive models.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on ground movement and associated infrastructure impacts.
- Provide technical advice on remediation, prevention, and mitigation measures.
The successful candidate will work closely with developers, engineers, regulators, and community stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and the development of safe and sustainable solutions.

Key Requirements:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mine Subsidence Engineer who has a tertiary qualification in Geotechnical, Mining or Civil Engineering.
A strong track record in subsidence modelling and interpretation, structural impact assessment, and monitoring techniques is essential.
The ideal candidate will also have excellent technical reporting and communication skills.
