This role involves leading regional development initiatives, driving new business opportunities and managing a high-performing team focused on remedial projects. Key to strengthening market presence and expanding the portfolio of specialized remedial works.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the remedial sector, developing strong client relationships within industrial, marine, mining and commercial building sectors.
- Analyze local market trends and industry developments to identify areas for business expansion and maintain a competitive edge in the region.
- Provide leadership in project management to ensure exceptional quality delivery and meet client expectations in all remedial work.
- Lead proposal development, pricing and sales efforts to ensure competitive and comprehensive bids.
- Mentor and manage a team of project engineers and site staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, safety and continuous improvement.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with key stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact and representing the company's values and commitment to excellence.
- Track business development progress, sales pipelines and project KPIs to ensure targets are achieved.
- Hold a degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related field.
- Possess 5+ years of experience in business development or regional management within the remedial, civil or construction industries, preferably on contractor-side.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of remedial techniques and solutions, including concrete repair, steel repair, cathodic protection, waterproofing, protective coatings and structural strengthening.
- Exhibit a strong knowledge of civil and structural principles, ideally with a technical background in engineering.
- Show proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with excellent interpersonal skills to foster client and team relationships.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation, proposal development and strategic sales skills, with a proven ability to drive revenue and growth.
- Display excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting ideas clearly and effectively.
