Job Overview

The Vendor Performance Manager role encompasses the strategic management and performance of outsourced agreements and external partner programs/project services across the technology portfolio.

  • Engage with senior stakeholders within AIA and its vendor network to understand long-term business goals that can be enabled by third-party relationships
  • Lead the development of new contracts and manage iterations, working with cross-functional teams for complex negotiations and/or vendor remediation pieces
  • Develop strategies to manage partner service relationships and operationalize frameworks to monitor service agreements, including governance, strategic planning, and escalation management
  • Develop and help deliver on remediation plans to address regulatory requirements and high-risk audit findings
  • Fulfill contract lifecycle management and administration of supply contracts
  • Manage and lead suppliers at senior management level to deliver high-performing supply chains
  • Stakeholder management that ensures clear communication and shared outcomes and understood and met

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing large-scale IT outsourcing agreements utilizing standardized policy and procedure. A tertiary qualification, preferably post-graduate level in a Commercial/Business discipline, and commercial experience gained within the enterprise and/or APRA regulated environment are also essential.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale IT outsourcing agreements
  • Tertiary qualification in a Commercial/Business discipline
  • Commercial experience within the enterprise and/or APRA regulated environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
