The opportunity for a skilled Project Manager to lead BPO projects and drive strategic outcomes through cross-functional collaboration has arisen.
You will embark on a visionary quest, transitioning selected processes to outsourced partners and forging strategic partnerships. Your exceptional skills in process efficiency and risk management will bring together stakeholders, master project governance, and drive successful project completion.
This is a permanent full-time position, based in a Melbourne office with hybrid working arrangements. You can work from the office or from home.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify target BPO processes and focus on customer journeys and internal enabling processes.
- Defining selection criteria in partnership with procurement for a long-term BPO partnership, conducting on-site due diligence of BPO vendors, assessing their delivery capabilities.
- Acting as the key contact between BPO vendors and business process owners, overseeing pilot projects and the outsourcing roadmap.
- Collaborating with sponsors and process owners to initiate BPO projects and define scope and requirements, identifying resources, creating resource plans, and ensuring timely engagement for project success.
- Establishing and monitoring project governance aligned with our framework, including resource plans and schedules, managing project budgets in collaboration with Finance, and effectively handling project dependencies.

What do I need?
- Extensive experience leading BPO projects with a strong focus on change management.
- In-depth understanding and successful compliance with relevant regulatory outsourcing standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, including status reporting, scheduling, dependency management, financial/budget management, and risk management.
- Proven track record of negotiating successful outcomes with stakeholders, including sponsors and project managers.
