Job Title: Waste Service Coordinator

This is a challenging opportunity to make a significant impact on the community by providing comprehensive support in administering waste services and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide central point of contact for day-to-day enquiries and service request resolution related to waste and sustainability functions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor and administer waste and sustainability services contracts.
  • Conduct or coordinate waste audits and inspections for kerbside services, public bins, occupational health and safety, and site inspections.
  • Assist with external funding opportunities to support priority waste management programs.
Essential Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
  • Proven experience in providing high-level administrative support.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
