Senior HR Consultant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Consultant to join our team at Hudson Australia. As a key member of our People & Culture team, you will provide expert HR advice and guidance to leadership and teams, driving strategic HR initiatives and supporting organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Advisory: Provide high-level HR advice to leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering HR solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Change Management: Lead and support P&C change management initiatives, ensuring successful delivery of projects that drive organizational transformation and growth.
  • Policy & Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant HR legislation, industrial relations frameworks, and company policies.
  • Organizational Development: Drive initiatives to improve organizational performance, culture, and employee engagement.
  • HR Systems: Manage and optimize the use of HR systems to streamline HR operations and enhance data analytics and reporting.
  • Strategic Communication: Develop and deliver strategic communication to inspire, influence, and drive change throughout the organization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring collaborative and effective partnerships.
  • Talent Management & Employee Relations: Oversee talent acquisition, development, retention, and performance management processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven HR experience in a senior generalist role, preferably in Utilities, Finance, Heavy Industry, Mining, Gas, or Defence.
  • Strong capability in managing and delivering P&C change management initiatives and projects.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, partnering, and relationship management.
  • Strong strategic thinking, planning, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High-level knowledge of applicable legislation, industrial relations instruments, and frameworks.
  • Ability to balance strategic work with business-as-usual deliverables.
