Job Overview

The Organisation: A public sector organisation undergoing significant change requires a seasoned Interim HR Director to support business operations on an interim basis. The team focuses on customer advocacy and stakeholder relationships.

About the Role

You will work closely with the executive team, alongside experienced managers, in a true generalist capacity. Responsibilities include rolling out strategic initiatives, supporting the organisation on all generalist activities, managing a small team of HR professionals, handling recruitment, talent management, employee relations' issues, and assessing learning needs. As the accountable HR lead, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have proven senior-level experience of at least 8 years. You should be comfortable with operational HR work but possess expertise in the ER space, with regular union liaison experience. Ideally, you should have previous experience working in a public sector organisation and be available immediately to be considered.
