We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Banking and Financial Services team in Australia. This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne, with the expectation of spending at least three days per week at the client site.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in selling solutions centered around Data Analytics, AI/ML, and Data Engineering in the technology or consulting services sector. They will also have strong technical knowledge and business acumen to represent CXO level and below.

We are looking for someone who can drive substantial growth and scaling from existing banking relationships, maintain and aggressively expand TCV by farming across key business, technology, and Data and AI functions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to strategize and manage multi-disciplinary teams, focusing on digital, cloud, analytics, and other new-age services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end management of client relationship, pursuing aggressive growth and P&L management.
  • Leading sales activities to achieve exponential revenue growth targets in assigned territory.
  • Structuring high-value, strategic deals, leveraging industry knowledge to identify upcoming disruptions.
  • Developing strategies and change management tactics for growth and increased wallet share in banking accounts.
  • Managing and nurturing C-level relationships.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to expand the relationship and introduce new business.
  • Overseeing complex operational activities related to the account.
  • Leading solutioning aspects by translating client requirements to consulting and capability teams.
  • Negotiating large deals, MSAs, contracts to win-win outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • At least 12 years of sales experience, with 5 years in Australian BFS, having a proven track record in selling Data Analytics, AI/ML, and Data Engineering solutions.
  • Client relationships at CXO level that you have worked with and can call upon in Big4/5.
  • Good technical knowledge and business acumen to represent CXO level and below.
  • Proficient in articulating and delivering analytics solutions on major cloud platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate impactful client engagement in top-tier banking firms.
  • Proven capability to develop and execute strategic client growth plans, maximizing wallet share.
  • In-depth knowledge of the BFS industry, competitors, and trends.
  • Track record of selling large consulting services deals, managing portfolios within the $50M range.
  • Ability to strategize and manage multi-disciplinary teams, focusing on digital, cloud, analytics, and other new-age services.
