OQ Technology, a leading satellite telecommunications company, seeks an ambitious Sales and Business Development Manager to drive our presence in the Australian market.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to achieve revenue growth and promote profitability.
- Drive a sales pipeline that delivers above-market growth while managing priorities and challenges.
- Meet and exceed revenue objectives, expanding our presence in the Australian market.
- Analyze market trends, customer segmentation, and competitor activity to determine target customers and sales planning.
- Provide market intelligence feedback to support business planning and general processes.
- Validate market strategy needs for differentiated global/regional services.
- Define strategic sales initiatives and generate sales leads to close contracts according to set revenue objectives.
- Develop sales pipeline forecasting for existing and new products, influencing investment decisions.
- Negotiate and close contracts, simplifying complex negotiations.
- Identify commercial leads, elaborate client proposals, and manage relationships with existing and potential customers.
- 5+ years' experience in sales and business development of L/S-Band based satellite solutions into key M2M markets (including Oil & Gas, Utilities, Maritime, Transport).
- New business development experience across Australia is essential.
- Strategic thinker with a hunter mentality and strong prospecting skills.
- Professional sales and presentation skills, proven negotiation ability.
- Sales track record, experienced in working to and exceeding targets.
- Ability to execute strategic initiatives autonomously and proactively.
- Design and implement a business development strategy aligned with overall corporate goals.
- Manage external account projects and internal processes.
- University education in Engineering, IT, Business, or relevant area; MBA is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English, additional regional language is beneficial.
