Site Operations Specialist

The organization is seeking a skilled Site Operations Specialist to support the delivery of major road infrastructure projects in North Western Sydney.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a seasoned civil delivery team and contribute to the success of live projects, with scope for growth based on performance and project needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in civil engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the execution of civil works, including road widening, services relocations, drainage, and pavement construction
  • Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring progress against project timelines
  • Maintaining accurate records, including ITPs, QA documentation, and site diaries
  • Ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards during night shifts
  • Facilitating clear communication between day and night shift teams through regular meetings and updates
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in road or civil infrastructure projects is essential
  • Previous night shift experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills are crucial for success in this role
