We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in senior executive roles, with experience in government relations, policy influence, or VET sector leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and development of vocational education and training in Victoria.
  • Represent the interests of public TAFE providers to government, industry, and community stakeholders.
  • Lead a high-performing team in delivering programs, research, events, and services that meet the needs of members.
  • Foster collaboration and partnerships among member institutions to address shared challenges and opportunities.
  • Shape the conversation on workforce, skills, and training across Victoria and beyond.
Qualifications and Attributes:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, education, or social sciences.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior executive role, preferably in a public or advocacy setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of the VET sector and its challenges, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
