About the Role

AustralianSuper is seeking a skilled Change Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering change management expertise in support of our project portfolio.

The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating and driving change transition activities for change initiatives, ensuring that projects realise their expected benefits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Applying a structured change management approach and methodology to manage impacts caused by projects and change efforts
  • Contributing to the implementation of business processes to support change
  • Identifying risks and anticipated points of resistance and developing specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
  • Conducting readiness assessments, evaluating results and presenting findings in a logical and easy-to-understand format
  • Developing a set of actionable and targeted change management plans
  • Supporting the execution of plans by people leaders and business leaders
  • Coaching senior leaders who are change sponsors
  • Identifying post-implementation adoption challenges and developing corrective actions
  • Working with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plans
  • Tracking and reporting on change adoption and mitigating risks relating to the project change initiative

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Change Management Specialist who can bring a deep understanding of change management principles and methodologies to our team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Significant change management experience (5+ years)
  • Experience with business transformation, process re-engineering and/or system implementations
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Strong analytic and decision-making skills
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Collaborative team player, able to work with and through others
  • Tertiary qualifications in change management, human resources or related field
  • Prosci certification is desirable but not mandatory
