Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to join our high-performing team based in our Adelaide office. As a senior member of our national Valuation & Advisory Services team, you will work across some of Australia's best assets and contribute to our industry leading valuation platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality advice and valuation services to clients, meeting their requirements and expectations.
  • Meet individual budgets and assist with preparing, monitoring and updating budgets and forecasts for direct reports.
  • Implement marketing initiatives and contribute to business development and client engagement by taking ownership of new and existing client relationships.
  • Attend client and industry events to interact with clients and gain market and business knowledge.
  • Undertake property valuations within your sector or market.
  • Participate in portfolio valuations.
  • Extract and analyze comparable sales evidence.
  • Collaborate with other service lines across Colliers to complete valuation work for mutual clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Ongoing enhancement of internal databases.
  • Seek and refer opportunities to other geographic locations and product lines.
  • Mentor and support junior team members and support staff with their career development and progress.
  • Manage invoice payments.

Requirements

  • Minimum Associate Member of the API and a Registered Valuer with at least 5 years' experience.
  • Commercial awareness of the formulation and implementation of strategy.
  • Problem-solving and analytical ability to generate information that provides sound business decisions.
  • Computer literacy, particularly with MS Excel, Word and Estate Master.
  • Ability to deal with several matters and work to deadlines.
  • Ability to build strong business relationships with key internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to effectively lead a team.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Superior industry knowledge of the markets.
  • Demonstrate property risk awareness and adherence to and an understanding of Colliers Assure, our in-house quality assurance methodology.
