Opportunity Summary

We are seeking experienced lawyers to join our Sydney and Melbourne offices, driven by the growth of our Corporate Services practice in Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for seasoned lawyers to take a leading role on domestic and cross-border transactions for high-profile projects across the Asia Pacific. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client expectations and lines of enquiry, requiring strong advisory and client relationship skills, as well as specialist experience working on private and/or public deals.

You will contribute to the success of our transactional services team, working closely with Partners on business development activities to identify new opportunities, and contributing strategically to proposal and tender efforts. Additionally, you will be encouraged to develop valuable relationships and build your market presence.

Candidate Requirements

  • A qualified lawyer, between four to eight years post-qualification experience gained in private practice
  • Demonstrated experience working on private and/or public transactions
  • Infrastructure and/or energy sector experience helpful but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to assimilate information quickly and handle multiple priorities under pressure or within tight timeframes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and diverse stakeholder audiences
  • Collegiate and collaborative, with the ability to lead, mentor and support other team members
  • Be commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced high-performing team
  • Bring energy and passion to the role
