Role Overview

This position involves working closely with various teams to design and implement a comprehensive Identity and Access Management (IDAM) solution for an enterprise environment.

The IDAM Analyst will be responsible for defining rules, integrating systems such as SAP, Azure, and downstream systems, and ensuring governance, compliance, and seamless access for users.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document IDAM requirements
  • Develop business rules for identity lifecycle, provisioning, authentication, and access controls
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and solution designs
  • Document data flows, integration points, and technical documentation
  • Support architecture and data teams on IDAM solution integration
  • Prepare use cases, process flows, and technical documentation
  • Participate in testing, validation, and troubleshooting of IDAM solutions
  • Ensure solutions meet compliance, security, and privacy requirements
  • Collaborate with cyber teams to enforce access controls and audit trails

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Security/IDAM
  • 1+ year hands-on IDAM experience (Identity Governance, Access Management, PAM)
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with IAM technology: Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID, MDM (Informatica)
  • Proven stakeholder management skills (technical stakeholders, architects, security teams)
  • Excellent documentation skills - user guides, functional specs, data/process flows
  • Strong communication skills - able to explain complex technical concepts to mixed audiences
  • Workshop facilitation & requirements gathering expertise
  • Understanding of security principles including least privilege & compliance frameworks
