Identity and Access Management Leader

This is a leadership position within a nationwide IAM program.

The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and implementing identity and access management solutions using Okta.

  • Design and implement IAM solutions using Okta
  • Lead technical discussions and provide architectural guidance
  • Develop and maintain IAM policies, standards, and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions
  • Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities related to identity and access management

A strong understanding of identity and access management principles and practices is essential.

We are seeking a skilled professional who can lead impactful projects and shape IAM strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical leadership on IAM projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of IAM systems, making improvements as required

Solution Design and Development

  • Design and develop IAM solutions using Okta
  • Implement IAM policies, standards, and best practices

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions
  • Liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure effective communication

Security and Risk Management

  • Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities related to identity and access management
  • Mitigate security risks and ensure compliance with industry standards
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing Okta solutions
  • Solid understanding of identity and access management principles and practices
  • Hands-on experience with integration of IAM solutions in complex environments
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving IAM-related technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks
  • Relevant certifications in IAM or Okta (preferred but not mandatory)
