About the Role

We're seeking a highly experienced Platform Product Owner to lead our cross-functional squad within Core Data Platforms. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving platforms and outcomes that align with data stakeholder needs and business objectives.

  • Translate platform purpose into clear squad goals, ensuring members deliver desired customer and business outcomes.
  • Develop guardrails for the platform, acting as the technical conscience for the squad.
  • Manage and prioritize the squad backlog, ensuring that outcomes are delivered effectively and on time.
  • Ensure the squad complies with appropriate governance standards, including serving as the sign-off point for compliance.
  • Lead the discovery and experimentation of ideas, delivering innovative solutions to internal customers and colleagues.

What We're Looking For

  • 10 years' experience in technology, with at least 3 years in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Deep understanding of Databricks, AWS, and dbt is highly desired. General understanding of Collibra and Fivetran is a nice to have.
  • High level of flexibility and pragmatism with the ability to adapt to change.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication abilities.
