    Job Summary


Flight Centre Travel Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Product and Technology team. The ideal candidate will have experience in analysing and identifying business needs and improvements, with a focus on driving efficiencies across internal processes and improving technology platforms and products.


About the Role


We are looking for a Business Analyst who can gather requirements, document processes, design and architecture, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional specifications;
  • Participating in and contributing to the Business Analyst Community of Practice;
  • Developing use cases and process flows to support the development of software solutions;
  • Conducting stakeholder interviews to understand business needs and pain points;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are aligned with business goals;
  • Facilitating communication between business and technical teams;
  • Participating in user acceptance testing and ensuring that solutions meet business requirements;
  • Developing and maintaining system documentation and training materials.

Requirements


The successful candidate will have:



  • 3-5 years professional experience in a business analyst role, ideally in a Generalist or System role;
  • The ability to bridge the gap between our technical development solutions and the front-end problems;
  • Experience with a Customer Data Platform, or experience within a SAAS environment;
  • Experience within travel or retail industry or other internet-scale environments;
  • Background knowledge in discipline areas such as, requirements gathering process, design and architecture;
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
