Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Michael Page. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing customer relationships in the Marine Systems industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile, review, and submit quotes and tender proposals in accordance with company guidelines and sound commercial practice.
  • Negotiate and review contracts in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Report sales and pipeline prospects and bid progress.
  • Liaise with the Sales and Marketing Staff to understand customer requirements, promote Marine and Infrastructure products, and provide sales support.
  • Develop and maintain accurate CRM files of leads, opportunities, and customers.
  • Implement Sales Excellence processes and maintain Sales Excellence data input.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong engineering background, ideally with a graduate degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering. They should have 3-10 years of experience in project engineering or consultative sales, demonstrating a proven track record of driving sales and managing customer relationships.
