Warehouse Operational Readiness Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As part of the project team on a greenfield site, you will draw from your previous experience to consult and define standard operating procedures across the supply chain to ensure maximum capability, efficiency and traceability.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in warehouse and logistics operations, with a focus on process improvement and quality assurance. You will work closely with key business stakeholders to recognise and define influences within the delivery of product to customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement warehouse and logistics operational guidelines, incorporating cGMP practices where possible.
  • Consult on SOP best practice to develop, document and implement above objectives.
  • Work closely alongside a 3PL in the development and delivery of above objectives.
  • Develop these frameworks and integrate within the SAP ERP platform.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a Greenfield or Brownfield site in the delivery of warehouse and logistics functions, ideally with 3PL involvement.
  • Understanding of or exposure to cGMP or LEAN principles within a heavily regulated, fast moving manufacturing and distribution facility.
  • Exposure to the SAP platform from an operational perspective (technical experience not necessary).
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications.
