Optimizing Supply Chain Operations

A leading seafood wholesale and import company is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
  • Managing inventory control processes to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing holding costs and wastage.
  • Negotiating supply contracts with local and international vendors to ensure cost efficiency, timely delivery, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitoring and improving cold storage and warehouse systems to optimize product handling, safety, and traceability.
  • Establishing and maintaining recording systems to track stock movements, inbound shipments, and outbound deliveries.
  • Coordinating with logistics providers, transport companies, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely distribution of goods.
  • Supervising the preparation and documentation of purchase orders, shipping records, and warehouse transactions.
  • Leading and mentoring warehouse and logistics staff, setting performance targets and ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Over 3 years work experience in supply chain, or distribution management.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with knowledge of international trade and logistics.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain software systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
